Tantal (Japanese: タンタル, Tantaru) is a recurring character in the Taiko no Tatsujin series, first appear in Taiko no Tatsujin Wii: Do-Don to Nidaime!

Appearance

Tantal is a blue-color robot with a giant build, highlighting its raw strength.

Personality

Not much is known about Tantal other than it follows Dr. Evil Lou's orders

Background

Tantal is the one of the Waru Robots and was No.4 within the Waru Robot line. Its has massive raw strength that it can even throws giant rocks. It has a prototype model and twin Tungsten.

In the series

Do-Don to Nidaime!

Off-screen, Evil Lou sent Tantal festival area, only for it to encounter and face against Dorabot, one of members of Dokon Gang. Tantal beats up Dorabot badly before it left the scene.

Evil Lou then send Tantal to the festival area again, but encounter Nyanky and Botan who want to get revenge on what Tantal did to Dorabot earlier. Nyanki and Botan were no match of Tantal, who proceed to send them flying! Tantal later fights Don and Katsu, but ended up defeated.

Long after Evil Lou was defeated once and for all, Tantal and its twin Tungsten, having reconciled with the Dokon Gang, were last seen moving the Mikoshi.
