Taiko no Tatsujin is a series of rhythm video games created by Bandai Namco Entertainment. In the games, players simulate playing a Taiko drum in time with music. The series started in 2001 with the release of the first title, Taiko no Tatsujin; and along these 20 years the developers have been publishing more than 20 games, including the last one, Taiko no Tatsujin: Nijiiro Version in 2020.

  • Taiko Team's official Twitter had announced that the Undertale Pack DLC, which contains 3 tracks from the video game Undertale, will be coming to both Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun! and Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! on October 10 and October 24 respectively in Japan and Asia regions. The pack will likely be made available for the US and EU copies of the games at later date.

January 12, 2020

  • The official CoroCoro Comic Twitter had just revealed that a Japanese trading card game, Duel Masters is going to have a collaboration with the Taiko no Tatsujin series through the upcoming Mystery Black Box Pack. It will be first released as an event-limited item at the Nagoya Dome at the day where it held the World Hobby Fair Winter 2020 (Which is January 19, 2020), and will be released as general item on January 25 of the same year.

  • Bandai Namco Entertainment had announced that Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival, which was previously released on Switch, will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and PC on November 7, 2024!
