Taiko no Tatsujin 2 (Japanese: 太鼓の達人2, Taiko no Tatsujin Tsū) is the second Taiko no Tatsujin arcade game released on August 6, 2001.
Gameplay
The main gameplay mechanics is the same as the first Taiko no Tatsujin arcade.
Unlike the first Taiko no Tatsujin arcade where there's only one difficulty each song, there are now multiple difficulties for each song/music. Taiko no Tatsujin 2 also introduces the Donderful difficulty (later known as Oni difficulty). All the songs appear in this difficulty. However, the note is same as the hard level.
Stating from this version, the number of combo hit is shown on the screen starting from 10 combos.
