Taiko no Tatsujin: Go! Go! Godaime (Japanese: 太鼓の達人 ゴー!ゴー!五代目, Taiko no Tatsujin: Go! Go! Godaime) is the Taiko no Tatsujin game that was released by Namco for the PlayStation 2 on December 9, 2004. It was the 5th entry for the Taiko no Tatsujin games for the PlayStation 2, following Atsumare! Matsuri da!! Yondaime.

Gameplay[]

There are some changes to the core gameplay in this entry; It added the Go-Go Time, which would give donders 2x the points (usually on big/most heard parts of the song). It also added the potato note, which is similar to the drum roll/balloon notes but with Don-chan eating the Potato.

Others parts of the game were also slightly changed; In the song play screen, the lanterns on the top of the screen were removed, and the dancer screen was enlarged to compensate the removal of the laterns. Originally, the change to the character avatar (In which will change whenever the donder ascend their Taiko Rank in the Don Points menu.) was only limited to be shown in the Don Points menu, but now had been changed to show said change to anywhere including the Taiko Play mode.
