Latest revision as of 05:59, 4 November 2018

Taiko no Tatsujin: Atsumete★Tomodachi Daisakusen! (Japanese: 太鼓の達人 あつめて★ともだち大作戦!, Taiko no Tatsujin: Atsumete★Tomodachi Daisakusen!, lit "Taiko Drum Master: Gather! Befriend Great Strategy!") is the 3rd Taiko no Tatsujin game for Nintendo Wii U. It was released on November 26, 2015.

It comes in either just the game itself or the bundle with TaTaCon controller for the retail version.

Gameplay

The gameplay is pretty much the same as the previous Taiko no Tatsujin games on Wii U. Baton Pass, Intro-don and Mecha-don Gasha mode are completely inherited from Taiko no Tatsujin: Tokumori!. Introduced in the new game is the Buddy Attack Mode (ともだち大作戦), which is the game's main story mode.

Unlike most past Taiko no Tatsujin games where player controls Don in the story mode, this time the player will control Katsu.

Player can also unlock songs by scanning amiibo figurine and amiibo card.

Story

One day, the Wada family (including their neighbor Hana) arrived at the airport to catch up with the airflight to Hawaii for vacation.

Unfortunately, Katsu, the youngest of the Taiko drum duo, slips on a banana peel and crashes into a wall, knocking him out unconscious in the process. As he wakes up, Katsu find out that he missed the flight and Don and the others have already left for Hawaii without him.

He think forward about what can he do while no one is at home as he feels lonely, before he settled on something: to become the top popularity star of the (singular) street.

How will Katsu do to accomplish this? By befriends the animals around the street!
