Taiko no Tatsujin Wiki

The use of templates in the song list section of the game pages is slowly deprecated due to some pages reaching the translusion limit of Fandom (and in extension, the MediaWiki it running on). As such, it is recommended to edit the song list in source edit mode.

Before you create a music/song article, you must always begin with the {{Infobox Song}} template. If you don't start with either templates on the top of the articles, the article will be removed from the wiki. After adding the template in their respective articles, you then start with a short summary of the article which has to starts with "(Insert music and song name here)".

Here is how the layout must be on the articles:

  • {{Infobox Song}} - As explained above, the article must always starts with the either of those templates that must be placed above of every article. The front cover image(s) placed into those templates must be set on 240 pixels wide and they has to be from the singles/albums/original soundtracks that the music/song was first included.

The main design for the articles goes as followed:

  • About the song / About the music - This header contains information about the song/music in question, including what media work(s) that features the song/music, the single CD and album where the song/music was included as well as when and where the song/music was first included in Taiko no Tatsujin series. This header is optional for Vocaloid, Game Music and Namco Original genre songs/musics. Contributors should keep the information simple.

    • Arcade - This sub-header contains the list of arcade games where the music/song was featured. For the current 3rd-generation Taiko no Tatsujin games on arcade platform, contributor should lists on which firmware or update that has the song added into the game, unless the game was featured on launch.

    • (Insert game name's subtitle here) - Those sub-headers contains information about the music/song's notechart data in those game. If there are two or more games that has the same notechart data, contributor should merge them into one sub-header (for example, V Version/White Version for the song "crossing field"). It should be noted that on the current arcade platform, the songs may remains in the game for many version upgrades and as such, contributor should link them to the arcade platform version where the song was first featured (White Version of the song "crossing field", and Red Version for the song "EXCITE"). If the song has the Ura track, contributor should separate them into their own sub-headers as follow:
      • Face - This sub-header contains the notechart data for the face track.
        • 1P - This sub-header contains the notechart data for the single-player face track.
        • 2P - This sub-header contains the notechart data for the two-player face track.
