Kiyoshi Wada (Japanese: 和田喜与志, Wada Kiyoshi), simply known as Grandpa (Japanese: おじいちゃん, Ojīchan), is a recurring character in Taiko no Tatsujin series.

Biography[]

Appearance[]

Kiyoshi is a human who is bald and sporting the white mustache and beard.

Usually, Kiyoshi is wearing Japanese traditional dresses in various colors. There are times where wore the more modern dresses though.

Personality[]

Despite his old age, Kiyoshi is very energetic.

Background[]

The grandfather to Tetsuo, he stays in the Wada household and looking after his grandson and their neighbor Hana. Kiyoshi has the weak back, so he is usually seen siting around.

He is a long-time friend to Lantern Eel.

In the game[]

General[]

Kiyoshi usually appears during the song plays and in some mini-games.

Great Adventure of the Seven Islands![]

Prior to the story, Kiyoshi had opened a Taiko Dojo of his own on one of the seven islands.

However, his peace time in the island soon got disturbed when the Dokon gang starts making loud noises everywhere in the seven islands. Having enough of this, Kiyoshi sent the mail to Don and co. to dealing with the problem.

Atsumete★Tomodachi Daisakusen![]

He, along with his grandson, Don, Katsu and Hana, are travels to Hawaii for vacation. He doesn't noticed that Katsu isn't with them until he got home.

However, a much greater surprise awaits him and Tetsuo: The Wada household is now filled with various animals! Both him and Tetsuo then scolding Katsu for bring them into the house, but upon looking at the animals, they immediately grew attached to them by their cuteness.
