Don in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid costume.
The Kamen Rider Ex-Aid (Japanese: 仮面ライダーエグゼイド, Kamen Raidā Eguzeido) costume is a costume that was introduced in Taiko no Tatsujin series since the Japanese version of Red Version's version 6.08 update.
General info[]
The costume has Don wearing the body that is based on Ex-Aid Action Gamer Lv2's suit. Don is also seen wearing the Eyelight Scope (part of Ex-Aid's helmet). As with the previous Kamen Rider-themed costume, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid (in his Action Gamer Lv2 form) can be seen riding on his back.
It cannot be mixed with the head gear.
How to obtain[]
Since Red Version's version 6.08 update in Japan, the costume can be obtained by playing EXCITE once. Norma clearing the song will also unlock the title 'Level Up! Taiko no Tatsujin! (Japanese: レベルアップ！太鼓の達人！, Reberu Appu! Taiko no Tatsujin!)'
Players will no longer able to obtain the costume and the title after June 27, 2019. Those who already owns those will be able to keep them.
Trivia[]
- The title 'Level Up! Taiko no Tatsujin!' is a play on the transformation announcement from the riders' Gamer Driver when they transforms from Lv1 form to Lv2 form.
- The title also refers to the Taiko no Tatsujin Rider Gashat, which was featured in the third episode of the web side-story Kamen Rider Ex-Aid "Tricks": Kamen Rider Genm. Unlike the previous two episodes which were available on Toei's Youtube channel, the third episode was only available on home media release, which also includes the first two episodes and is bundled with the DX Taiko no Tatsujin Rider Gashat toy.
