"Geragerapo no Uta" (Japanese: ゲラゲラポーのうた, Geragerapo no Uta, lit. The Hahaha Song) is a song performed by King Cream Soda.

About the song[]

"Geragerapo no Uta" was the music group's first major single, released on April 30, 2014 under Avex's FLAME label. The single had reached the 4th place in the Oricon singles chart in its debut week.

It was used as the first opening theme song of the TV anime series Yo-kai Watch, an TV anime adaptation of Level-5's video game of the same name on Nintendo 3DS.

It was first introduced into Taiko no Tatsujin games as an anime-genre song starting with version 2.05 update of Taiko no Tatsujin: Momoiro Version on the arcade side and Taiko no Tatsujin: Don and Katsu's Space-time Adventure on the game console side.

Unlike other licensed songs, the original audio was used.

Trivia[]

  • Like some of the songs included in Taiko no Tatsujin games, the song will have the special dancers, consists of characters from Yo-kai Watch, to replaces the default dancers during song play.
  • This is one of the Yo-kai Watch anime songs that was required to unlock the title 'Searching for Yo-kai (Japanese: 妖怪さがし中, Yōkai Sagashi Chū)' and the costume Jibanyan (Based on Jibanyan) by clearing them.
    • Since Kimidori Version, it is one of the songs that was required to unlock the title 'Oh My Swirls! (Japanese: もんげー!, Monge ̄ !)' and the costume Komasan.
