AI Don (Japanese: AIどん, E ̄ ai Don) is a character from Taiko no Tatsujin: Green Version.

Biography

Appearance

Being a mechanical being, AI Don is a robotic anthropomorphic taiko drum, sporting a white body with bright turquoise lines on it and a black face. He is also wearing a special goggle/headset.

Personality

Despite being a robot, AI Don is shown to have a bullish attitude toward donders.

Background

AI Don is a creation of Makina, who install a special artificial intelligence program into him that allows him to learn things from other donders by playing with them together and adapts himself for any changes in opponent's skill.

In the game

AI Don, along with his creator Makina, first appeared in the AI Battle Performance mode that was introduced in Green Version via an update.

In the AI Battle Performance mode, AI Don and Makina time-traveled from the year 2765 to the present time and build a futuristic Donder Reseach Laboratory at there, and helps Don (and Katsu, if player two is present) to become a strongest donder. AI Don serves as an opponent for both Don and Katsu.
